Inside Line Promotions – COLUMBIA, Mo. (March 31, 2021) – Scott Bogucki is going to use a doubleheader at Lake Ozark Speedway this weekend as a test session.
The dirt oval in Eldon, Mo., hosts the ASCS Sooner Region and ASCS Warrior Region on Friday and Saturday.
“We’re going to try a bunch of stuff I’ve wanted to try, but I don’t want to do it at a points race,” he said. “It’s just fine-tuning.”
The SawBlade.com sponsored driver has visited Lake Ozark Speedway six different times with his best performance of a third-place outing occurring during his most recent race there in September 2019. The track welcomes a pair of Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour doubleheaders this year so this weekend provides an opportunity for Bogucki to learn prior to points races at the oval.
“We’ve either been in the top three or not very good there,” he said. “We’d like to get a little more consistent at that track.”
Bogucki’s 360ci winged sprint car program is off to a strong start this year as he earned a pair of top-five finishes during the ASCS National Tour season-opening event. After this weekend the ASCS National Tour is scheduled to compete for eight straight weeks before the next off weekend.
